icon in the status bar.

Open new messages from the Notifications Panel or the Messaging
Screen. Tap the message to read it.

Composing an SMS

1. Tap

Home

New message

2. Tap the

field to enter the recipient’s number. You can also enter

the first letters of their name to display matching

Contacts

and

select a recipient from the list or tap

to see your Contacts list.

3. Tap the

Type to compose

field and enter the content of your SMS.

4. Tap

Send

to send your SMS.
