As the Decoder is not part of the Kit, you will have to use the remote control supplied
by your Sat Decoder manufacturer.
If, when the satellite search is over, the TV screen is black, check the following:
a) Is the scart jack of the TV connected to the scart jack of the Black Box? Connect it as
indicated in the Installation manual.
b) Is the scart cable of the 21-pole type (are all connector poles properly connected)? Use
21-pole scart cables only.
c) Is the TV set on the SCART input source? Set the TV on the SCART input source.
d) Is the TV off? As it is not part of the Kit, it is to be turned on via its remote control.
If, when the satellite search is over, the message “No Signal” is displayed on the TV
screen or if the TV screen is jammed, check the following:
a) Have you connected the RECEIVER output of the Black Box to the LNB IN input of the
receiver via a coax cable? Connect if as indicated in the installation manual.
b) Have you selected the right satellite ? Make sure that the channels you wish to receive
are really available on the required satellite. For example: if you have tracked the Astra 19
satellite, make sure that the Decoder is tuned on a channel which has been selected from
the Astra 19 channel list.
If, when the antenna parking operations are over, the screen
is animated as follows, check the following:
a) Is the DECODER on? Turn it off by pressing the button (3)
on the remote control.
If, upon turning on the Black Box, the antenna remains in
parking position and the screen is animated as follows
even when you press the “SAT +” (8) button on the remote
control, check the following:
a) Is the engine of your vehicle running? Turn it off, since this
means the safety system which keeps the antenna down is
operating.
If the Black Box does not turn off:
a) hold down the key (1) of the remote control until the Black Box turns off (max 20 seconds)
