THE VIBBY FALL SENSOR
The Vibby Fall Sensor is supplied either on the wrist or around the neck . The
Vibby Fall Sensor is waterproof but it should not be fully submerged for long
periods.
If worn on the wrist the Vibby should be worn on your non-dominant hand
(the opposite hand to the one you write with).
Additional pendants are available separately if more than one is required.
Please note your Vibby Fall Sensor does not have a microphone.
Making an Emergency Call
- Simply press the Vibby Fall Sensor until it flashes red.
- A call will then be placed to our Control Centre.
- Please note you cannot test the Fall Sensor by throwing it at the floor.
The battery condition is checked regularly. If the Novo base unit detects a low battery in the Vibby fall sensor, an alert will be
sent to the Control Centre. Vibby Fall sensors must be returned to Telecare24 for replacement.
The Vibby Fall Sensor can be used to activate an emergency call from anywhere in or around the home. Once the
alarm is activated, you can speak to our care team using the built-in microphone and loudspeaker on the base unit.
The Vibby Fall Sensor is a life saving device; remember to advise the user to wear it at all times . Please test your system
via pressing your pendant every 4-6 weeks to ensure that all equipment is working correctly.
