Application Examples

Creating, Viewing, and Analyzing a Transport Stream

The following application example describes how you can create a new transport stream and examine it for errors.

Create a New Stream using the Multiplexer

In this section of the application example, you will create a new transport stream using the MTS400 Series Multiplexer application.
You will introduce one error so that you will be able to observe it in a later section of the application example.

1.

Open the Multiplexer application.

Start

> Programs > Tektronix MTS400 >
Generators > Multiplexer

Select

View > Interpretation

.

3.

In the Stream Interpretation dialog box,
ensure that the selected Base Standard
is DVB and that the Region is None.

Select
