6. Select a fi le for analysis. File > New .
7. Locate and open an MPEG fi le. For
example, testmux.mpg, created in earlier
application examples.
Another
fi le selection dialog box is
opened immediately. This is for you to
name and open a buffer model results
(BMR)
fi le, which will hold the results of
subsequent analysis.
Accept the default name and open the
fi le.
The program performs initial analysis
to form a Stream List and calculate
the mean transport rate. The stream
list displays all of the programs and
elementary streams in the
fi le. All
streams in the list are marked as
Unprocessed, because no analysis has
been performed on them in this session.
8. Select Process Streams
from the
tranpsort stream context menu to start
processing the stream.
Analysis progress is displayed in the
status bar.
