Probe Compensation

To ensure  that measurements are accurate,  always com­

pensate  the probe before using. To compensate the  probe, 

touch  the  probe tip  to  the  ,3V  C AL OUT jack  on  the 305 

front  panel  and display several  cycles o f calibrator square 

wave at  approximately A divisions  in amplitude.  Adjust 

probe compensation through hole  in the compensation box 
fo r the  best  front-corner  response to  the signal  as shown  in 

Figure  10.
