Serial and Parallel Ports
A 25-pin D-Sub header is provided on the back panel for a multi-mode bi-
directional parallel port.
Two 9-pin D-Sub headers are also provided on the back panel for Serial ports.
Wake-on-Ring Function
The Wake-on-Ring function allows the
modem to remotely power on the system.
Install an external modem (normally to
COM2) and enable
Power On by
Ring/LAN
function from BIOS “Power
Management Setup”.
For the function to work for an
internal
modem card
, you must also connect the
Wake-on-Ring cable on the modem card
to the
Wake-on-Ring function connector
(JP10)
on the mainboard.
