First Use
Make sure that your appliance is in straight position and on a balanced, flat, clean, dry and nonslip surface.
Plug in your appliance. After lifting the teapot (2), displace the water heater (1) from the bottom unit (8).
Fill the water heater (1) with water up to the max. line and replace it on the bottom unit (8).
Slightly press the on/off switch (6) downwards and turn it on.
Take the boiling / heat stabilising switch (5) to (
) position. The heating pilot light (6) will turn red.
After the water boils, the appliance automatically shifts into ( ) position and the heater pilot light turns blue.
Pour out the boiled water and rinse with water again.

Preparing Tea
Displace the water heater (1) from the bottom unit after taking the teapot (2) from top of it. (Figure 1)

Fill the water heater (1) with water up to the max. line and replace it on the bottom unit (8). (Figure 2)

When taking the teapot for filling tea, pull it by sliding over its base. Thus, the water
drops collected on the teapot bottom will drop into the water heater.
