• The tea maker does not work or stops before coming to the boil
– Check that your tea maker is properly connected.

CLEANING YOUR TEA MAKER
Unplug it.
Let it cool down, take out all the accessories from the tea pot, and clean
it with a damp sponge.
• Never immerse the tea maker, its base, the cord or the electric plug in
water or any other liquid: the electrical connections or the switch must
not come into contact with water or any other liquid.
• Do not use scouring pads.
• When your tea maker has finished infusing, prevent temperature
shocks with cold water.
• Do not put the product parts in the dishwasher.
• The lid gasket has been designed to be removable in order to allow
clean the lid.
DESCALING
De-scale regularly, preferably at least once a month or more frequently if
your water is very hard.
To de-scale your tea maker and boiling bottle:
• Using white vinegar:
– Fill the teapot with 0.5 L of white vinegar.
– Leave to stand for 1 hour without heating.
• Using citric acid:
– Boil 0.5 L of water.
– Add 25 g of citric acid and leave to stand for 15 min.
• Empty the teapot and rinse 5 or 6 times. Repeat if necessary.
To de-scale your tea basket and lid:
Soak the infuser basket and lid in white vinegar or diluted citric acid.
• Never use a de-scaling method other than the recommended method.
