4.3 Operating modes
The system can be operated in three different operating modes. The operating modes can be set
on the main screen. The individual operating modes and their functions are described below.
The fan levels and air discharge temperature control system for the individual
device are switched off, the frost protection controller remains active.
In manual mode, the fan level and air discharge temperature can be set
separately. An external door contact is not evaluated in this operating mode.
The fans operate continuously at the selected level in manual mode as long as
the external release has been given. The fan level can be set using the control
unit.
In automatic mode, the air curtain unit can be put into active operation by an
external request, e.g. a door contact. The fan level in active operation can be
specified manually or automatically depending on measurement variables.
The number of switching cycles can be reduced using a configurable after-run
time with correspondingly adjusted fan level. In addition to the after-run, a
base load can also be configured. When the base load is activated, the air
curtain unit is continuously operated at the base load level or is switched off
on reaching the specified room temperature.
One of five possible sources can be determined for the active status. It is possible to select
between a fixed level, regulated by outdoor temperature, regulated by room temperature, 0-10V
or 4-20mA.
