EMPTYING THE WATER RESERVOIR
In extreme conditions it may be necessary to empty the internal water reservoir.
The
light on the control panel will switch on when the water reservoir is full.
The airconditioner will switch off automatically. Empty the water reservoir in the
following manner:
Do not move the unit. Violent movements may cause water leakage.
First switch the airconditioner off and remove the plug from the socket.
Place a pan or an appropriate container on the ground under the drain hole.
Remove the rubber sealing cap
J
from the drain and allow the water to run
out (± 0.5 to 1 L).
Slide the sealing cap
J
carefully back over the drain. Failing to do this
carefully may cause leakage. Insert the plug into the socket and switch the
airconditioner on. The indicator light
on the control panel switches off
again.
H
CONNECTION TO A PERMANENT DRAIN
First switch the machine off and then pull the plug out of the socket.
Place a pan or a suitable container under the water drain in order to catch
any leaking water.
Remove the rubber sealing cap
J
from the drain.
Slide a water drainage hose (ø 14 mm. internal) over the drain opening.
Lead the other end of the water drain hose to a suitable location (drain hole).
Attention: ensure that the drainage hose is not twisted or kinked. The hose
must be on a downward slope along its entire length.

COMMENT
When in use as an airconditioner, the condensation water is removed
through the air exhaust hose. When the machine is used as a
dehumidifier, the condensed water will be collected in the internal
water reservoir.
