10. Do not immediately recharge a battery that has run down quickly
A battery that discharges quickly because of a continuous operation becomes excessively hot. So when a battery with these
features is put to charge, a red indicator light comes on. This prevents charging or allows a insufficient recharging.
Always charge the battery after it has been allowed to cool.
11. Do not charge for more than 2 hours
If the light stays on even after charging for two hours, the product may be faulty. Stop charging and take the product to your
nearest agent or dealer.
12. Keep the insertion socket of the battery clean.
The insertion sockct of the battery on the battery charger has specific terminals for the charging. If the socket is dirty due to
metal shards, water or any other material, the terminals may short circuit, thereby damaging the battery charger.
13. Do not remove the battery from the charger.
The battery contains a special device for rapid charging (2 hours). Do not try to take it apart as it could be damaged.
The charger contains a capacitor and electronic parts. Disassembly could cause electric shock or damage to the charger.
Never try to take it apart.
14. Avoid situations that may cause a short circuit in the battery charger.
The battery used has a very low internal resistance. A short circuit could cause a power surge resulting in overheating and
burning, or damage to the battery.
15. Never burn the battery
Do not burn the battery or place it in an incinerator: it could explode.
16. Be careful when working in a high position.
When working in a high position, make sure that no one is underneath.
17. Make sure that the air intake of the charger is kept clean.
Prevent metal strips or flammable materials from obstructing the air intake on the charger: they could cause electric shock or
damage. Do not use the charger in a dusty place.
18. Stop charging if you notice any abnormalities.
If an abnormal heat or other irregular aspects are noticed during charging, discontinue it immediately and have the charger
looked at for repair.
19. Keep the charger appropriately.
Put the charger in a dry place, away from children and where the temperature does not go above 40° C. Do not keep it under
roof eaves or anywhere that can be affected by rain. Damage to electric insulation can cause electric
shocks.
