Installation instructions:
Check the hand-dryer’s rating plate to ensure it corresponds to the premises’ supply voltage.
Underneath the intended location of the unit, there must be a clearance of at least 50 cm in
order to avoid the unit being switched on unintentionally. A shockproof socket must exist at
an adequate distance to the location of the unit (length of power supply lead: approx. 1.7 m).
Should the unit need to be opened at any time, ensure that it is unplugged
first. The hand-dryer must not be installed within range of people using
baths and/or showers.
Installation of the unit:
Drill four holes with a diameter of 6 mm where the unit is to be installed, according to the
dimensioned sketch in figure 1, and insert the rawl plugs enclosed. For mounting the hand-
dryer, remove its casing; for this purpose, the 2 screws in the lower area of the unit are to
be removed (refer to figure 2). The casing can then be lifted upwards and be taken off the
mounting base (the black air exit grid remains resting on the mounting base!). The unit is now
attached to the wall with the four screws enclosed using the rawl plugs inserted earlier.
Please make sure that the wall is plain and the mounting base is not distorted when screwing
on the unit – ensure the plain fastening of the unit by using plain washers, if necessary!
After having mounted the hand-dryer, replace the casing. The best way to do this is to adjust
the lower part of the casing to the air exit grid and to the plate with the ventilating slits, then
to the press it upwards at the front edge until the upper part of the casing clicks into place
at the mounting base. Please do not forget to fasten the casing with the screws removed at
the beginning!
Insert the plug into a nearby socket outlet with earthing contact. The hand-dryer is now ready
to use.
Note: The socket should be so positioned that the plug can be pulled out at any time.
Should the power lead become damaged, it must only be replaced by the manufacturer, the
manufacturer’s customer service unit, or a similarly qualified specialist to avoid risk of injury.
