Before operation
9.1.
Points to watch before using the equipment
•
Check that all housings and removable guards are correctly in place.
•
Check that the machine's access door operates correctly.
•
If necessary, wear personal protection equipment.
•
The working environment must be kept clean. Where appropriate, clean the machine before switching it on.
From a general point of view, the machine user is responsible for its use and operation and for taking the safety
precautions recommended in this manual.
•
Do not ignore the points set out below; to do so could cause serious personal injury or damage to the machine.
•
Ensure that only trained personnel operate the machine.
•
Ensure that only trained and qualified personnel set up, service and maintain the machine, assisted by
documentation from the supplier.

10.1.1.
Starting the machine
Press the main switch button to switch on the laser.(

During system start-up, the indicator on the marking head flashes green or orange if the door is open. (

The extraction system is switched on independently of the laser. Press the green button on the front of the extraction
system to start or stop the machine. (See the "Connecting the extraction system" paragraph).

Starting the laser source
The following procedure must be followed to the letter.
Set the "Switch on" key selector to 0.
Open the machine door. The indicator lamp on the marking head turns green.
