design telephone is one of a new design and innovation series. It performs all
basic functions with incoming call display supported by your network
providers and most PABX switching system (please consult your switching
system provider for details)

INSTALLATION
Open the battery compartment underneath the unit and insert two “AAA”
size alkaline batteries. Please note the correct positioning (+ and -).
Connect the modular plug of the telephone line cord into the modular jack at
the rear of the telephone base. At the end of this modular plug connect to
the telephone line wall jack. Insert the handset coil cord modular plug into
the jack at the rear of telephone base. Then, the LCD display is turn on.
A. MAKING A CALL
1.
Lift the handset or press [HF].
2.
Wait for the dial tone and then dial the telephone number.
3.
To terminate the call, replace the handset onto the base unit, or push the
hook switch, or press [FLASH] key.
4.
Press the [HF] key again when you are using the hands free speaker.
Note : If your phone is connected behind a PABX switching system,
you may enter the (REDIAL) into the dialing sequence to insert a
timed delay “Pause function” when necessary.
B. ON HOOK PRE-DIALING
1.
During the on hook state, press the telephone numbers.
2.
Lift the handset or press [HF].
3.
The desired phone number will dial out automatically.
C. DIAL OUT THE NUMBER FROM INCOMING CALL
MEMORY
1.
Press [UP] / [DOWN] to search the incoming call number.
2.
Lift the handset or press [HF] button, and press [BACK] to dial
out the number.
3.
Or Press [FLASH] to exist the searching, press [DEL] to erase
the number.
D. DIAL OUT THE NUMBER FROM OUTGOING CALL
MEMORY
1.
Press [OUT] enter into the outgoing call memory, and press [UP]
/ [DOWN] to select the desired outgoing call number.
2.
Lift the handset or press [HF] button, and press [BACK] to dial
out the number.
3.
Or Press [FLASH] to exist the searching, press [DEL] to erase
the number.
E. TALKING TIMER
When the handset lift up or press [HF] key, the talking timer will be
enabled automatically.
F. LONG DISTANCE CALL LOCK
When you turn the key lock to GREEN point, all the dialing
number headed with “0” will be blocked.
Turn the key lock to RED point, and release the locking.
G. SETTING MODE
Press [SET] key to change the setting, there are 8 setting levels and
the LCD will display “SE 12345678” and flashing.
1) Date and Time Setting,
LCD will display “1-dATE 2-CL” and flashing, press [1] or [2]
to adjust the setting.
[1] Date setting
1.1 Press the numeric keys to set the “20yy-mm-dd”.
1.2 Or press [DEL] to amend the setting.
1.3 After completed the setting, press [SET] to confirm, and
[DEL] exit to the main menu.
[2] Clock setting
2.1 Press the numeric keys to set the clock “hr-min”.
2.2 Or press [DEL] to amend the setting.
2.3 After completed the setting, press [SET] to confirm, and
[DEL] exit to the main menu.
2) Ringer Melody and Volume Setting
LCD will display “r 1r2VIP3VOL” and flashing, press [1], [2]
or [3] to adjust the setting.
[1] Normal ringer melody (16 melodies selection)
1.1 Press [UP]/[DOWN] to select the ringer melody.
1.2 After completed the setting, press [SET] to confirm, and [DEL]
exit to the main menu.
Note : Default setting is melody 01 (Normal ringer tone)
[2] VIP ringer melody
Note : No function in this model.
[3] Ringer volume control (4 levels)
3.1 Press [UP]/[DOWN] to select the ringer volume level.
3.2 After completed the setting, press [SET] to confirm, and [DEL]
exit to the main menu.
Note : Default setting is melody 4 (Highest level)
3) Alarm Call Setting (3 groups)
LCD will display “AL 1-2-3” and flashing, press [1], [2] or [3] to adjust
the different alarm group setting.
3.1 Press [UP]/[DOWN] to switch on/off the alarm call.
3.2 Press numeric keys to set the alarm clock “hr-min”.
3.3 After completed the setting, press [SET] to confirm, and [DEL]
exit to the main menu.
4) Non-disturbance Setting
LCD will display “OFF_r 00-00” and flashing
4.1 Press numeric key to set the non-disturbance time “hr-min”.
4.2 After completed the setting, press [SET] to confirm, and [DEL] exit to
the main menu.
4.3 When the telephone unit return to the normal state, the LCD will
display the non-disturbance timer. During the non-disturbance time
period, the phone will not ring up when any new incoming call.
5) Flash Time, Tone/Pulse an Anti-dialing Setting
LCD will display “1-F 2-PT 3-d” and flashing, press [1], [2] or [3] to
adjust the setting.
[1] Flash time setting
Note : No function in this model, and the default setting is 100ms.
[2] Tone/Pulse setting
2.1 Press [UP]/[DOWN] to select the Tone or Pulse dialing.
2.2 After completed the setting, press [SET] to confirm, and [DEL]
exit to the main menu.
Note : Default setting is Tone dialing.
[3] Anti-dialing setting
Note : No function in this model.
6) Area Code and Prefix Code Setting
LCD will display “1-LoE 2-oL” and flashing, press [1] or [2] to adjust the
setting.
[1] Local area code setting (8 digits)
1.1 Press numeric keys to set the local area code.
1.2 After completed the setting, press [SET] to confirm, and [DEL]
exit to the main menu.
[2] Prefix code setting (8 digits)
1.1 Press numeric keys to set the prefix code.
1.2 Press [UP]/[DOWN] to switch on/off the prefix code dialing.
1.2 After completed the setting, press [SET] to confirm, and [DEL]
exit to the main menu.
7) LCD Contrast Level Setting (5 levels)
LCD will display “Lcd con 5” and flashing.
1.1 Press [UP]/[DOWN] to select the contrast level.
