1 Introduction

Please read this manual carefully before using the device.

Do not operate the unit near bathtubs, showers, swimming pools or running/
splashing water. There is a risk of electric shock and/or damage to the unit.

Foreign objects such as nails, coins, etc. must not fall into the device. Do not
touch the connection contacts with metal objects or fingers. This can lead to
short circuits.

knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety
or are instructed by this person on how to use the device.

Before connecting, make sure that the operating voltage of the AC adapter
matches the mains voltage.

When the unit is not in use (and connected using the AC adapter), remove
the plug from the outlet. Pull on the plug, not on the cable. Remove the plug
before a storm begins. If the unit willnot be used for an extended period of
time, such as before going on a long trip, remove the plug from the outlet.
