LISTENING TO FM RADIO
RADIO PRESETS
Your system can store up to 30 of your favourite stations as
presets for quick recall.
To store a preset (control panel or remote control)
Tune to the station you want to store as a preset.
•
Press the
•
MEM/C-ADJ
button.
The display will show ‘MEMORY’ and the preset number will
flash.
Press the
•
P
or
O
button repeatedly to find the preset
number you want to store.
Press the
•
MEM/C-ADJ
button to store the station in this
preset location.
The station playing will be saved for future recall by this preset
number.
To browse the presets
Press the
•
PRESET/FOLDER
P
or
O
button.
As the preset number steps up or down the indicated preset will
be recalled.
Your radio can receive FM band radio stations.
Selecting FM operation:
Press the
•
FUNCTION
button repeatedly to select TUNER
mode.
The display will switch to show ‘FM’ and the tuned frequency.
To auto-tune to FM stations
Press and
•
hold
the
}
or
{
button to search for the next
station up or down the band.
The radio will search the band and the tuning frequency will be
displayed whilst searching.
When a usable station is detected the radio will stop tuning
and play the station. The station frequency and audio mode
will be displayed.
To manually tune to FM stations
Press the
•
}
or
{
button on the control panel
briefly
to
tune the band manually in 50kHz steps.
STEREO/MONO RECEPTION
You can set your radio to switch automatically between
stereo and mono FM reception (STEREO mode) or to receive
in mono only (MONO mode). Setting to Mono mode may
improve sound quality in areas where a weak aerial signal
results in a high level of background noise.
To switch between FM Stereo and FM Mono modes
Press the
•
ID3/MO./ST.
button repeatedly.
The audio mode will toggle from FM Stereo to FM Mono.
