  PLAYING A CD OR MP3/WMA DISC

You  can  load  and  play  music  CDs  or  MP3/WMA  encoded 
compilation discs and navigate the disc using the buttons on 
the remote control or the front panel.

Selecting CD, or MP3/WMA disc operation:

Press  the

FUNCTION

  button  repeatedly  until  CD  is 

displayed.

Loading a disc:

Press the 

• 

OPEN/CLOSE

 button.

The loading door will slide upwards.
When the door has stopped moving, you can load the disc onto 
the turntable.

Holding the disc by the edges, load it over the turntable 

• 

in the centre of the disc compartment and press the disc 
lightly onto the turntable.

The disc will be retained on the turntable. 

Press the 

• 

OPEN/CLOSE

 button to close the loading door.

The unit will read the disc and display the total number of tracks 
on a CD, or total tracks and folders on an MP3/WMA disc. 

Removing a disc:

Make sure that the disc is stopped.

Holding the disc by the edges, lift it off the turntable and

place it back in the case.

Playing a CD or MP3/WMA disc:

The disc will begin to play. For CD the display will show the track 
number  playing  and  the  track  elapsed  time.  For  MP3/WMA 
discs  the  display  will  show  the  track  number,  album/folder 
number (if any) and the track elapsed time.

Pausing disc playback:

 button while the disc is playing.

The elapsed time display will flash.

Stopping disc playback:

Press the

STOP/MENU

 button (or the

remote control) while the disc is playing.

The disc will stop playing. 

Selecting tracks:

 button to select the next or previous 

track. 

Selecting folders/albums on an MP3/WMA disc:

  button  to  browse  up  or  down  the 

folders on an MP3/WMA disc.

Play will skip to the next or previous folder/album and the track 
number will change accordingly.

Fast search:

forward or backward through a track.

The track will search at high speed.

ID3 title display:

Press the

ID3/MO/ST

 button to switch ID3 mode on or 

off.

‘ID3 ON’ or ‘ID3 OFF’ will be displayed.

When ID3 mode is on, the track number and time display 
alternates with a scrolling text display of the artist/album 
and track name.
NOTE:  ID3  title  display  is  only  possible  where  ID3  data  is 
available for the album/track being played.

NOTE:-  On  an  MP3/WMA  disc  all  tracks  are  played  and 
selected  in  one  sequence,  whether  they  are  in  albums/
folders or not. As the tracks change, the folder number will 
update as necessary.
