Playing the rhythm

Intro, fill-in and ending patterns fitting each different rhythm pattern are permanently recorded in your
Keyboard, thus allowing a versatile rhythm performance.

INTRO

Begin the rhythm performance with an intro pat-
tern.

1.

Press the

INTRO & ENDING 1

or

INTRO &

ENDING 2

button to turn it on.

2.

Press the

START/STOP

button to start the

rhythm.

• An intro pattern is played, after which the nor-

mal rhythm pattern begins.

COUNT INTRO

You can begin the rhythm performance with a
spoken one-measure count.

1.

Press the

COUNT INTRO

(

FILL IN 2

) button

to turn it on.

2.

Press the

START/STOP

button to start the

rhythm.

• A spoken one-measure count is played, after

which the normal rhythm pattern begins.

Mode setting

You can select the mode for the count sound.

Press the

MODE

button in the

AUTO PLAY

CHORD

section to turn it on.

• The display looks similar to the following.

Use the COUNT INTRO button to select a
mode.

VOICE: A spoken count (initialized setting).
CLICK: A clicking sound for the count.

FILL IN

You can insert a fill-in pattern any time during the
rhythm performance. Choose from two different
fill-in patterns.

Select a rhythm and press the

START/STOP

button.

2.

Press the

FILL IN 1

or

FILL IN 2

button.

• A fill-in pattern is heard immediately for the

remainder of the measure.

• When a

FILL IN

button is pressed on the last

beat of the measure, the fill-in pattern con-
tinues to the end of the following measure.
