Location
Surround speakers should be placed on the side of or slightly behind
the listener, about one meter higher than ear level.
However the position should be adjusted to your personal preference,
because the effect varies to some degree depending upon the type of
music and the music source.
If irregular coloring occurs on your television
These speakers are designed to be used close to a television, but the
picture may be affected with some televisions and set-up combinations.
If this occurs, turn the television off for about 30 minutes.
The television’s demagnetizing function should correct the problem.
If it persists, move the speakers further away from the television.
CAUTION
Do not attempt to attach these speakers to walls using methods other
than those described in this manual.

Connections
•
Before making the connections, switch OFF the power to the re-
ceiver or amplifier.
•
Use with a receiver or amplifier having 8
Ω
impedance for these
speakers.
•
Be sure to connect only positive (+) wires to positive (+) terminals,
and negative (–) wires to negative (–) terminals.

CAUTION
To prevent damage to circuitry, never short-circuit positive (+) and
negative (–) speaker wires.
Note
After you have completed set-up and connection, wind the excess
cord and keep together with string.

Ubicación
Recomendamos colocar los altavoces de sonido ambiental a los
lados del oyente, o un poquito por detrás de él, y a un metro
aproximadamente por encima del nivel de sus oídos.
Sin embargo, la posición deberá ajustarse según sus preferencias
personales, porque el efecto varía en cierto grado según el tipo y la
fuente de la música.
Si se producen colores irregulares en su televisor
Estos altavoces han sido diseñados para ser utilizados cerca de un
televisor, sin embargo, con algunos televisores y combinaciones de
instalación es posible que la imagen se distorsione.
Si ocurre esto, apague el televisor durante unos 30 minutos.
La función de desmagnetización del televisor deberá corregir el
problema. Si persiste el problema, separe más los altavoces del
televisor.
PRECAUCIÓN
No intente adosar estos altavoces usando métodos que no sean los
descritos en este manual.

Conexiones
•
Antes de realizar las conexiones, desconectar la alimentación del
receptor o del amplificador.
•
Utilice un receptor o amplificador con una impedancia de 8
Ω
para
estos altavoces.
•
Asegurarse de conectar sólo los conductores positivos (+) en los
terminales (+) y los conductores negativos (–) en los terminales (–).

PRECAUCIÓN
Para no dañar el circuito, nunca se debe permitir que los conductores
de altavoces positivo (+) y negativo (–) hagan cortocircuito.
Nota
Después de completada la instalación y la conexión, bobine el exceso
de cable y manténgalo junto con una cuerda.
