Making a phone call
W ith B lu e to o th ® e n a b le d p h o n e s (c ell p h o n e s o r s m a rtp h o n e s ) th a t s u p p o rt th e “H S P ” o r “H F P ” B lu e to o th ®
profile, y o u c a n u s e th e unit fo r p h o n e calls.
• H S P (H e a d s e t Profile):
T h is profile c a n b e u s e d to re c e iv e m o n a u ra l s o u n d s a n d e s ta b lis h tw o -w a y c o m m u n ic a tio n using the
m ic ro p h o n e on th e unit.
• H F P (H a n d s -F r e e P rofile):

Start talking.
• To m ute the voice during a call, press the Multi function button twice quickly.
(To cancel m uting, press the Multi function button twice quickly again while muting.)
• To switch the noise level of the other party during a call, press the Multi function button 3 tim es quickly.
Voices will be e a s ie r to h ear w h en you reduce the audio noise from the other party.
This function is effective in reducing the noise heard from continuous sources (ventilation fans, etc.) in the
vicinity of the other party.
• Th e volum e can be adjusted during a phone call. For setting instructions, s ee page 1 6 .

Press and hold the Multi function button to end the phone call.
• A beep will sound.

• T h ere m ay be instances w h en hands free setting needs to be done on the Bluetooth® enabled phone.
• D epending on the Bluetooth® enabled phone, you m ay h ear incoming and outgoing call ringtones of the phone from
the unit.
•Y o u can have the Bluetooth® e n abled phone m ake phone calls by using the m icrophone of the unit and an app of the
Bluetooth® e n a b le d phone. ( l 19, “Activating voice functions”)
