Pairing procedure - When pairing your headphones first tim e with a Bluetooth® device

In the pow er-off state, press and hold [ Í / l ] of this unit fo r approx. 2 seconds until the
LED indicator lights for 1 second.
• Th e LED indicator will light alternately in blue and red.
Note: Th e LED indicator lights (R ed /b lu e ) to indicate that the unit is in pairing m ode.

Turn on the power o f the Bluetooth® device, and enable the Bluetooth® function.

Select “EAH-A800” from the Bluetooth® device's menu.
• A BD address (Bluetooth® Device address: an alp h an u m eric character
string th a t is displayed by and unique to the device) m ay be displayed
before “E A H -A 8 0 0 ” is displayed.
• If prom pted for a passkey, input the passkey “0 0 0 0 (four z e ro s )” of this
unit.
• W h e n the LED indicator blinks (b lu e )* twice a t approxim ately 2 second
intervals, pairing has been com pleted and connection has been
established.
* T h e battery is low w h en it is blinking in red.

Confirm that this unit and the Bluetooth® device are connected.
Note
• If the connection with the device does not com plete within 5 m inutes, the pairing m ode on this unit cancels and they
transition to connection standby m ode. P erform pairing again.
• This unit rem em bers the device lastly connected. Th e unit m ay connect autom atically after turning on the pow er of
this unit.
