Two hardware versions must be differentiated: 
 

First 

Second 

v1.0 - 2.4 (not available anymore) 

V3.0 and higher 

 
Advantages of second version: 

 

Better performance due to temperature issue 

 

Start up much faster 

 

More internal space for buffering. 

 

Note

:  there  are  different  software  versions  for  the  different  hardware  versions
