3. Installation instructions
3.1. Legal
The MasterDrainer 80 Kombi is a collecting equipment for water-hazarding liquids. It
may therefore be operated in suitable facilities only which, for example, must be
equipped with an impermeable base. When operating the machine always grip the
handlebar as, by pushing on the downpipe, the seals can be damaged! Always secure
the MasterDrainer 80 Kombi against accidental operation and, when shut down, turn
it off securely against unauthorised operation.
When shut down the MasterDrainer 80 Kombi is to be disconnected from the
compressed air supply! The equipment may be operated only under supervision!
In case of emergency the equipment is to be disconnected from the compressed
air supply!
3.2. Compressed air supply
A malfunction-free and low-maintenance operation of pneumatically-operated
devices is only ensured when the compressed air supplied is free of dirty and
condensed water. It is strongly recommended that clients use a compressed air filter
with the water separator.
3.3. Extraction using the suction probe
The suction extraction of oil from passenger vehicles takes place via the dip stick
pipe. With this, the work can take place using both coupled compressed air supply
and also independent of network.
3.3.1. Preparation of the vacuum

Connect the ball valve to the suction hose and to the central spigot for
pressure discharge.

Open the ball valve on the ejector.

Connect the air supply to the ejector; a vacuum is built up in the tank.

After achieving the maximum vacuum (ca. -0.9 bar) the equipment is ready for
suction extraction. Close the ball valve on the ejector and, if necessary,
disconnect the air supply

3.3.2. Suction extraction
Before suction extraction it is to be checked whether sufficient remaining
volume is still available in the tank for the oil to be collected.

Plug the desired suction probe on the suction hose or use the fixed
suction adapter on the suction hose.

Insert the suction probe into the opening of the dip stick pipe or plug the
adapter on to the dip stick pipe.
