3.4. Collecting using the collecting pan
The draining off of used oil is to be carried out with the engine at operating
temperature. Due to the low viscosity of the warm oil the duration of the oil change is
shortened considerably.
Before draining it is to be checked whether sufficient remaining volume is still
available in the tank for the oil to be collected.
Place the oil disposer under the vehicle, bring the collecting pan into the desired
position and lock in place using the eccentric cylinder clamp.
It is to be ensured that the ball valve under the collecting pan is opened.
Open the oil drainage plug on the vehicle and let the oil run into the collecting pan.
3.5. Empty collecting tank
The tank is to be emptied when the marking on the level indicator is reached. For
drainage the suction hose is used as drainage hose.
Connect the ball valve to the drainage hose, to the collecting pan and to the ejector.
With opened ball valve the oil can be conveyed from the collecting tank into the
open.

Connect the compressed air supply to the central spigot for drainage

Manometer changes over to the overpressure range

After reaching the operating pressure (0.7 bar) the drainage process can be
initiated

Remove the suction probe from the drainage hose and keep the hose in a
suitable container and, if required, secure it against dropping out

Start the drainage process by opening the ball valve on the drainage hose
Tanks which are emptying will also draw out air. Through this knocking can occur in
the drainage hose.

Following completion of drainage close the ball valve on the drainage hose,
disconnect the equipment from the compressed air supply and plug on the
suction probe again.
The ball valve on the compact valve is to remain open for the ventilation of the
tank.
