PRACTICAL TIP
•
Always thaw frozen food before grilling.
•
Cook sensitive food (e.g. fish or mushrooms) on low heat.
•
To keep barbecued food warm, turn the thermostat control to low heat.
•
For meat where retaining juices is vital for a great taste such (as steaks), avoid poking
holes in the meat with a fork or other instrument used for piecing - this may cause the
food to become dry.
•
Ideally, you should use non-abrasive barbecue tongs to turn your food.
•
From time to time, turn your food for best results.
•
Season food during preparation often yields the tastiest results.
•
Please ensure all foods are cooked thoroughly and are piping hot throughout before
consumption.
END OF USE
•
Remove the plug from the wall socket after use and turn the thermostat to the lowest
position.
•
Remove all food from the grill plate.
•
Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
•
Clean the grill plate (11) and the drip tray (6).
•
Place the Barbecue Grill in a safe, sheltered, damp free, waterproofed location.
CLEANING AND CARE
•
If it looks like paint is peeling off inside the grill, it is usually grilled food leftovers.
•
Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the socket.
•
Let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning.
•
The grill plate can be cleaned with soapy water. Dry the Grill Plate thoroughly
afterwards.
•
The outside of the barbecue should only be cleaned with a damp cloth and wiped
with a dry cloth.
•
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
•
Do not clean the barbecue grill by immersing in liquids and do not use a steam cleaner
for cleaning
Never try to clean the grill plate by burning it off.
Toxic gases would emerge from the grill - Risk of suffocation!
