BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Remove all packaging material.
Clean the appliance (cf. "Cleaning and care"). It is recommended to heat up the
appliance for about 10 minutes without any foodstuffs in order to eliminate the grease
that may have adhered during manufacture and the “new” smell.
Ventilate the room during this period and during use in general.
OPERATION
Prepare pancake dough using your usual recipe.
Put a cloth under the appliance to protect your table from possible leaks or spatters.
Once you have made your pancake dough, preheat your appliance during 10 minutes.
Put the plug in an earthed power outlet.
Set the thermostat on the desired position (1 to 5). The higher the number is, the faster the
pancake will be baked.
Press the on-off switch to switch on the appliance. The red power light will come on to
indicate that the appliance is switched on and heating.
The green ready light will come on as well when the cooking temperature is reached.
During use, this ready light will go on and out regularly. This simply means that the
thermostat is regulating the appliance's temperature.
Attention: during operation, the baking plate heats up. Pay attention not to get burned.
When the appliance has reached the right temperature, and before you begin baking
your pancakes, pour a small quantity of oil on the pancake space to prevent your
pancakes from burning or sticking to the plate. If necessary, repeat this operation while in
use.
Pour the amount of dough that corresponds to the circle on the plate.
Warning! Do not pour too much dough because it might spill over the plate.
You can use the provided wooden dough spreader to spread the dough evenly until the
pancake has reached the desired size.
Turn over the pancakes with a plastic or wooden spatula. Do not use metallic utensils as
they could damage the plate.
According to your taste, you can add salty or sweet ingredients, hot or cold ones… Let the
choice be yours.
The baking times vary according to your personal taste.
When baking is finished, switch off and disconnect the appliance.
A cord winder is foreseen on the bottom of the appliance: hooks. When you store your
appliance, wind the cord around the hooks.
CLEANING AND CARE
Before cleaning, make sure that the appliance has been switched off and the plug has
been removed from the mains supply socket.

Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners as these might damage the non-stick coating.
Make sure no water or other liquid penetrates into the appliance.
Never clean the appliance under running water.
Never immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquid.
