system overview
The Matrix is an amplifier, audio mixer, and infrared wireless microphone receiver in one. It is the hub of
the classroom audio system as various media inputs can be connected to it, so that all classroom audio
can be amplified and distributed clearly through the speakers. The addition of microphones provides
voice reinforcement for the teacher and students alike.
The Matrix system is comprised of a microphone / transmitter, either the Sapphire (IRT-60), or Handheld
(IRH-35) for voice transmission to a ceiling sensor (ICS-55) that sends the signal to the receiver /
amplifier (IMA-120). The receiver/amplifier processes the signal and produces an analog signal of your
voice for output to the sound field speaker system.
