1 Using the Operator Manual
The operator manual must be within reach of the tool at all times.
All users entrusted with operating the tool must have read the operator manual and strictly observe the
instructions contained therein.
TE Connectivity shall not be liable for damage arising from failure to observe information provided on the
tool or in the operator manual.
In addition to the operator manual, the hand tool user shall provide health and safety and environmental
protection notices in accordance with national regulations.
2 Basic Safety Instructions
The hand tool has been designed in accordance with the latest technological standards and recognised
safety regulations.

Information on the appearance and location of substances subject to RoHS guidelines (Restriction on
Hazardous Substances) can be found at the following website:

Select “Find Compliance Status…” and enter the relevant part numbers.
2.1 Responsibility
The hand tool must only be operated by trained and authorised personnel.
The tool user must clearly define and monitor the personnel who are responsible for operating, equipping,
servicing and maintaining the tool.
In the event of unauthorised modifications to the hand tool the manufacturer or supplier will not be held
liable for resulting damage.
2.2 Hand Tool Setup and Operating Instructions
The tool may only be used in a fully functional technical condition by personnel who are aware of the
safety and hazard issues involved.
The tool should only be used for the purpose described in the operator manual.
The manufacturer or supplier shall not be held liable for damage arising from improper use: the user
alone bears responsibility for this risk.
