8.3  Smartphone app 

The TDK  Explore Kit is a demonstrator  unit  for exploring dry disinfection  processes 
using the CeraPlas Explore Kit. Whereby, the kit includes a filter extension unit and an 
Android app which allows to define its own decontamination process.  

Only use the device for the intended purposes. Misuse may restrict apparatus liability. 

8.3.1  Installation and first steps 

Attention only for Android devices version 6.0 to 11.0! 

To install the app, please scan the QR code that you received from TDK (the QR
code shown in the figure below is only an example).

Follow the 12 steps below and the installation of the app is not a problem any more. 
Note: For the visibility of the Explore Kit it is important that not only Bluetooth but 
also  GPS  Location  (only  function-related,  location  is  not  evaluated)  must  be 
activated on the smartphone. 

1. Click on "Web" to go to the home page
2. Then click on the file to download it
3. Start the download
