8 Operation and use
The operation or use of the TDK Explore Kit is very simple and the individual steps are
described in detail below.
Caution – Ozone Emission!
Do not use the TDK Explore Kit without sealed lid.
The TDK Explore Kit must not be used outside a building.
8.1 Switching on/off
8.1.1 Switching on
There is no electrical switch included in the application, and when the control unit is
put in the filter unit, the plug ist directly connected to the voltage supply (battery).
Be aware of all hazards associated with electricity.
8.1.2 Switching off
In order to disconnect the application from the power supply, the control unit must only
be removed from the filter unit.
If the application is not used for a long period of time, it is recommended
to disconnect it from the electrical power supply.
The battery of the TDK Explorer Kit can also be charged (see section 8.5
Charging the battery) when the control unit is removed from the filter unit!
