Drawing up the bottom thread
1. Raise the presser foot lever to its
highest position.
2. Hold the top thread firmly.
3. Turn the hand wheel towards the
front. Continue until the needle has
come all the way down and then
returned to its highest position.
During this action the bottom thread
will be drawn upwards in a loop.
4. Pull gently on the top thread until
the end of the bottom thread comes
out.
5. Draw the threads to the rear under
the presser foot.
