1. Take the lid off of the milk jug.
2. Fit the appropriate frothing attach-
ment onto the connecting piece in
the bottom of the jug.
3. Pour milk into the jug, taking care
not to fill it over the appropriate
MAX mark:
MAX for the frothing attachment
with the spiral.
MAX for the frothing attachment
without the spiral.
4. Place the lid firmly on the milk jug.
3. Warming and frothing milk
Briefly press the On/Off switch.
The indicator light lights up red. The appliance is starting to
warm and froth the milk.
The frothing process takes around...
... 1.5 minutes when using the attachment with spiral, or
... 2 minutes when using the attachment without spiral.
The warming and frothing process will stop automatically.
You can now remove the milk jug from the base stand.
Although no cause for concern, you may smell a
slight odour the first time the appliance heats up.
Ensure there is sufficient ventilation.

Frothing cold milk
You can also froth milk without heating it.
Press the On/Off switch and hold it down for approx.
2 seconds until the appliance starts the frothing process.
The indicator light lights up blue. The appliance begins
frothing the milk.
The frothing process will stop automatically after approx.
1–1.5 minutes.
You can now remove the milk jug from the base stand.
4. Interrupting or stopping the warming
and frothing process
Press the On/Off switch.
The indicator light goes out.
To restart the frothing and warming process,
press the On/Off switch again:
- brief press for warming and frothing
- long press for frothing without warming
5. Switching off the appliance
To turn the appliance completely off once you have
finished using it, unplug the mains plug from the socket.
Safety features
If the appliance has been switched on with no milk inside,
it will automatically switch itself off after 30–40 seconds to
prevent overheating.
