5.1 Signal chain placement

can
be
used

ways
depending
on
your
situation.
Whi

there
isn’t

a
right
and
wrong
use,
here
are
the
most
common
scenarios.
Example 1: Before the amp’s input
When
using
the
Fl
ashback
2
before
the
amp’s
input,
it
is
genera
ll
y
best
to

ace
it
after
your
other
peda
l
s.
I
f
any
stereo
eff
ects
are
used
before
the
reverb
peda
l
,
you
can
preserve
this
stereo
signa
l
by
connecting
to
both
of
the
Fl
ashback
2’s
inputs
and
sending
the
output
jacks
to
diff
erent
amps
or
to
a
stereo
input
on
a
mixer.

he
MAS
H
function
on
the
Fl
ashback
2
is
a
very
exciting
and
innovative
feature
that
a
ll
ows
continuous
contro
l
of
a
desired
parameter
through
pressure
on
the
footswitch.
T
his
opens
up
count

ess
creative
possibi
l
ities,
particu
l
ar
l
y
with
the
user-defined
T
onePrints
T
he
standard
togg
l
e
function
of
the
footswitch
reacts
to
sing
l
e,
quick
presses
of
the
switch
to
turn
the
peda
l
on
and
off.
I
f
you
press
the
switch
s
l
ight
l
y
harder
and
ho
l
d
it
down,
the
MAS
H
function
wi
ll
engage,
causing
the
associated
L
E
D
to
l
ight
up
s
l
ight
l
y.
As
you
press
down
harder
on
the
switch,
the
L
E
D
l
ights
up
brighter
and
the
parameter
that
has
been
assigned
to
this
function
wi
ll
increase
its
va
l
ue.
Re
l
easing
the
footswitch
wi
ll
exit
the
MAS
H
function
and
the
L
E
D
wi
ll
turn
off,
but
the
peda
l
wi
ll
sti
ll
be
engaged.
Note
that
the
pressure
needed
to
reach
the
maximum
MAS
H l
eve
l
is
on
l
y
10
kg
(around
20
pounds),
which
can
be
achieved
just
by
squeezing
with
your
fingers.
You
shou

need
to

ean
too
much
weight
on
the
peda
l
.
With
some
practice,
this
feature
wi
ll
become
fami

iar
and
expressive
much

ike

wah
or
vo
l
ume
peda

.
Using
the

this

feature

preset
that
