5 FLASHBACK 2 DELAY User Manual
Obtaining the TonePrint app
I f you own an iPhone, you can down l oad the T onePrint app from App l e’s App
Store. I f you own an Android phone, you wi ll fi nd the T onePrint app on
Goog l e P l ay. Once you have the app, no additiona l down l oads or in-app purchases
are required. You can access a ll avai l ab l e T onePrints from within the app, and a ll
T onePrints are free.
Transferring TonePrints to your pedal – step by step
• • Launch the T onePrint app on your smartphone.
• • F ind the T onePrint you want to use. You can browse T onePrints by Artist or
Product (i.e., peda l type). You wi ll a l so fi nd F eatured T onePrints.
• • P l ug your guitar or bass into your T onePrint peda l .
• • T urn your T onePrint peda l on.
• • T urn up the vo l ume on your instrument and set the pickup se l ector to
one pickup.
• • H o l d the speaker of your smartphone next to the chosen pickup and touch
“ Beam to peda l” .
3.3 Editing TonePrints with TonePrint Editor
T he T onePrint app a ll ows you to use T onePrints created by your favorite guitar
and bass p l ayers. But this is on l y the start. Using T C’s T onePrint E ditor, you can
create your very own signature peda l sounds.

I f you open the manua l for T onePrint E ditor in Adobe Reader, you can c l ick
on interface sections to jump direct l y to the sections of the manua l you are
interested in.
4. Inputs, Output and Controls
4.1 Power / Computer connection

POWER input - T o power up your peda l , connect a power supp l y to its
power input socket. T he power input socket of your T C E L E C T RON I C effect
peda l is a standard 5 . 5 /2.1 mm DC p l ug (centre = negative).
Your T C E L E C T RON I C eff ect peda l requires a 9 V power supp l y providing
100 mA or more (not supp l ied). T C E L E C T RON I C recommends using the
PowerP l ug 9.
T o minimize hum, use a power supp l y with iso l ated outputs. I f no power
supp l y is avai l ab l e, you can run this product using a battery. F or more
information on changing batteries, see “7 .2 Changing the battery ” .

USB port - Use the standard Mini-B USB port on your T C E L E C T RON I C effect
peda l to connect your peda l to a computer. I f there shou l d be firmware
updates for this peda l , they can be insta ll ed using the USB port –
see “7 .1 Updating the firmware ” .
4.2 Switching

FOOTSWITCH - T he footswitch performs performs 2 functions - on/off
and MAS H .
• • T o turn the eff ect on, tap the footswitch. T o turn the eff ect off , tap the
footswitch again.
• • T he footswitch a l so contro l s the MAS H function, which is detai l ed in
section 5 .2.
*T he de l ay tempo can sti ll be contro ll ed with your feet, but this is done by connecting a separate
footswitch to the Stereo I nput jack. See section 4 . 3 for detai l s.

4.3 Audio in and out

AUDIO INPUT/TAP TEMPO - T he audio inputs on the right side of this peda l
are standard ¼ " jacks (mono/ T S). Connect your guitar to the mono audio
input on the right side of your peda l using a regu l ar ¼ " instrument cab l e.
T he peda l a l so accepts stereo signa l s using a pair of ¼ " T S cab l es.
