Model 810, 812, 820, 822, 828 Series

Controls and Systems

Pneumatic System

The pneumatic system includes the compressor,
pressure switch, latch solenoids, and the pressure
regulator.

C and L Series Grills Pressure Switch:

Cuts in at 47 psi (324 kPa)

Cuts out at 67 psi (461 kPa)

When the STANDBY button is pressed, the latch
solenoid is energized.

C Series Grills

: Sends 35 psi (241 kPa) of compressed

air to the air cylinder.

L Series Grills

: Sends 45 psi (310 kPa) of compressed

air to the air cylinder.

The compressed air in the air cylinder prevents the
springs from pulling the platen open and maintains the
platen in the closed (Cook) position.

When the RAISE button is pressed, or a Cook cycle
ends, the latch solenoid is de-energized. When the latch
solenoid is de-energized, it stops sending air to the air
cylinder. The springs pull the platen to the Open position
and force the compressed air out of the air cylinder.
