Troubleshooting Guide

1. No product is being

dispensed.

a. Power switch is in the

OFF position.

a. Place power switch in the

AUTO position.

b. Improper mixing of

product.

b. Carefully follow directions

for mixing product.

c. Inadequate mix in hopper.

c. Fill hopper with mix.

d. Unit is out on reset.

d. Place power switch in the

OFF position. Press the
reset button. Return
power switch to AUTO.

e. Unit is unplugged at wall

receptacle.

e. Plug in power cord.

f. Circuit breaker is tripped

or fuse is blown.

f. Reset circuit breaker or

replace fuse.

g. Beater assembly is

rotating counterclockwise.

g. Contact an authorized

service technician.

h. Product is frozen-up in

freezing cylinder.

h. Contact an authorized

service technician.

2. Unit will not operate in the

AUTO or WASH mode.

a. Unit is unplugged at wall

receptacle.

a. Plug in power cord.

b. Circuit breaker is tripped

or fuse is blown.

b. Reset circuit breaker or

replace fuse.

c. Unit out on reset.

c. Place the power switch in

the OFF position. Press
the reset button. Return
power switch to AUTO.

3. No compressor operation

in the AUTO mode.

a. Beater motor is out on

overload.

a. Place power switch in

OFF position. Press the
reset button. Return
power switch to AUTO.

b. Condenser is dirty

(air-cooled units).

b. Clean condenser monthly.

c. The CLEANING REQ'D

light is lit.

c. Clean the unit according

to instructions in the
Operator's Manual.
