Using the Menu
Advanced Menu / Color
Custom Mode
This can set an original projection mode different from the preset projection
modes.
Align the cursor with the Custom Mode item name and switch the func-
tion On or Off with the cursor buttons (
◀▶
).
* When Custom Mode is set to On , Custom will be selected for Projection
Mode

Only when the setting is

Custom Mode
can be adjusted using
Gam-
ma Correction
,
Color Temperature
, and
White Level
. When the setting is
Off
, the item name will be displayed in gray, and selection and adjustment
will not be possible.

Gamma Correction
This corrects the proportion of the change of the dark portion from the bright
portion of the input signal.
This is used when reproducing natural color tones, and when projecting per-
sonal computer images distinctly in a bright meeting room, etc.
Align the cursor with the
Gamma Correction
item name and select the
setting content with the cursor buttons (
◀▶
).
Normal : Performs a standard correction.
Natural
: Corrects so as to result in a natural color tone.
Real : Performs a correction with emphasis on brightness.

When Off is set in Custom Mode , the Gamma Correc-
tion , Color Temperature , and White Level items will
be displayed in gray, and selection and adjustment
will not be possible.
Note
This permits fine video settings to be made. (Operate while the image that you would like to adjust or set is being
projected.)
