Adjusting the Focus
Model KG-PS232Xh/232X is equipped with an Auto Focus function. Turning
the zoom ring as described in step
1
will result in automatic adjustment of the
focus.

KG-PV131X/131S , turn the focus ring and adjust the focus of the
screen.

KG-PS232Xh/232X
is equipped with an Auto Fo-
cus function. Turn the zoom ring, or press the AUTO FOCUS
button of the remote control or the projector to adjust the
focus automatically.
The operating conditions of Auto Focus are as described
below.
When the power is turned on
When the zoom lever is moved
When the projector is moved
When the projection angle has been changed
Auto focus operating range
Auto focus will work with screen sizes ranging from
31 inches (with a projection distance of 1.2 m) to 148
inches (with a projection distance of 5 m). Adjust the
focus manually when screen placement exceeds 5 m.
Depending on the color of the screen and the pro-
jection environment, the operating range might be
shorter, or proper operation might not be obtained.
Erroneous operation will result when there is an ob-
stacle between the focus sensor and the screen.
Erroneous operation will result with the use of a trans-
lucent screen.
This function will not operate when the screen has
been moved.

Note
Change the projection method when the projector
is installed suspended from the ceiling, or is in a
rear projection setup. See “Vertical Flip / Horizontal
Flip” on Page E-68.
