Filter Alert Time
The setting of [Filter Alert Time] is a function that notifies when the filter
should be replaced.
This projector has a filter installed to protect the internal optical parts and
electronic parts from sand and dust.
When the filter becomes clogged, the internal temperature of the projector
rises, and if the projector continues to be used in this condition, activation of
the thermal protector will turn off the power. Such use will shorten the service
life of the projector or cause breakdown.
Replacement of the filter will differ depending on the usage environment and
should be selected in the range of “OFF” to “900 h”. (The setting is 500 h when
shipped from the factory.) Note that when using the projector in a location that
has a lot of sand or dust, it is recommended that a short period is set.
Select the item [Filter Alert Time], then use the SELECT ( ) buttons to se-
lect the time. Settings can be made in 100-hour segments. Selecting “OFF”
will disable the display of the filter alert.
When the time reaches the setting time of [Filter Alert Time], “Replace the
filter.” will be displayed for 10 minutes.
Please replace the filter.

* Every hour, the filter alert display will be displayed for 10 minutes until [Filter Timer] is reset.
