the filter as described below:
Servicing the optional filter
Service, maintenance and care
The machines maintenance is a pre-condition for trouble-free running and an
extended life.
Service intervals
TASKI machines are built to the highest quality standards. This is supported by
internationally recognised quality control procedures. Electrical and mechanical
parts are subject to wear or aging if used for long periods of time.
Service centre
Should you contact us due to a malfunction or for placing an order, please
always state the type, description and the serial number of your machine.
You can find this information on the name plate of your machine, and the
address of your nearest TASKI partner can be found on the last page of this
manual.
Malfunctions
Wait a moment for dust to settle before removing the dust bag.
• Press down the fastener catch (1) and lift off the
vacuum lid (2).
• Take out the basket, check if the cloth filter is
dirty (basket), clean if necessary.
• Remove the dust bag from the hose connector and dispose of it according
to your national regulations.
• Insert the dust bag as described in the pictogram on the dust bag.
Lightly soiled cloth filter.
• Brush off or using another vacuum cleaner, suck off the dirt.
Heavily soiled cloth filter.
• Wash the cloth filter in the washing machine (max. 30° C/86° F).
• Rest the damp cloth filter on the basket (so it adopts the right shape) and
leave to air dry.
The cloth filter may not be put in the tumble drier!
Caution:
The machine may only be operated with a dry and functional filter
cloth!
• Insert the basket, the arrow at the top must point towards the hose
connector.
Heavy soiling of the filter disc
• Turn the vacuum lid round, and replace the filter
disc with a new one.
The blue side of the filter disc must be visible.
Caution:
The machine may only be operated with the filter disc fitted!
• Place the ridge of the vacuum lid (2) into the
guide provided on the canister (1), then press
down until you hear the fastener catch click into
place.
Heavily soiled exhaust filter
• Remove the exhaust filter and fit a new one.
Heavily soiled HEPA filter
• Vento 15 only: Remove the HEPA filter and
dispose it in accordance with the national
regulations.
HEPA filters cannot be cleaned!

Clean the machine with a damp cloth
• In order to maintain operational reliability and availability for use, the service
must be carried out after 500 working hours or at least once a year.
Under rough or extreme working conditions and / or insufficient maintenance,
shorter periods are necessary.
