4. Use the VALUE (+/-) buttons to set it to “ON”.

button to select the

” item.
6. Use the VALUE (+/–) buttons to set the input signal
detection level to “
-6dB
”, “
-12dB
” (default value),
“
-24dB
” or “
-48dB
”.
7. After completing the setting, press the HOME button to
return to the Home Screen.
8. Press the RECORD [
º
] button to start recording
standby and RECORD [
º
] button indicator blinks.
Press and hold the RECORD [ º ] button to enable the pre-
record function and put the unit into recording standby.
Recording starts automatically when the input signal level
exceeds the detection level set using the “
START LEVEL
”
item.
Recording stops automatically and the unit returns to
recording standby when the input signal level stays below
the detection level set using the “
START LEVEL
” item for
five or more seconds and RECORD [ º ] indicator blinks.
TIP
Use this function in combination with the pre-recording
function to record without missing the beginning of a
performance.
NOTE
When “
AUTO REC
” is ON, unlike usual, pressing the RECORD
[ º ] button briefly does not start recording, but does put the
unit into recording standby.
9. You can press the
[ ª ] button if you want to stop a
recording that has started automatically.
CAUTION
When overdubbing, the auto-recording function cannot be
used.
