Hydraulic Chute
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
4. Adjusting Hydraulic Pressure
A. Locate the set screw situated
to the left of the Hydraulic
Control Valve leavers.
B. Using a 9/16” open end
wrench, remove the set
screw cover, exposing the
pressure adjustment screw.
C. Using a 9/16” open end
wrench, loosen the jam nut
and back it off allowing for
modification of the pressure
adjustment screw.

D. Using a standard flat-blade
screwdriver, rotate the adjustment
screw clockwise to increase pressure
and counterclockwise to decrease
pressure until the desired pressure is
achieved. An optimum working
pressure of 1100-1200psi is required
while the pump is engaged and under
a load.
E. Use 9/16” open end wrench to tighten
the jam nut to prevent unwanted
movement of the adjustment. Replace
and tighten the set screw cover.

5. Adjusting Hydraulic Cylinder Arms
A. To adjust hydraulic cylinder, pull
cotter pin out from grooved slot
on clevis bolt located in center
of the cylinder control arm.
B. Pull clevis bolt out of cylinder
control arm.
C. Raise cylinder shaft upward,
until it is free from control arm.
The CattleMaster
hydraulic chute has 3
fully-adjustable hydraulic
cylinder arms (located on
top of chute) that can
be adjusted (in or out)
to fine-tune the operation
of each cylinder’s control
independently.
D. Loosen locking bolt
located on top of the
black end of the head
piece on cylinder shaft.
E. Grab black end of the
cylinder head and turn.
Threading out will
make the doors come
closer together and
threading in will make
the doors wider.
F. When adjustment is
completed, tighten
locking bolt and lower
cylinder shaft until
clevis bolt fits back into
center of cylinder head
and control arm.
G. Place cotter pin back
into slot of clevis pin.
