Importing Conference Options
The Import Conference page lists conference files that have
been uploaded to this Content Server.
Before a conference can be imported, an administrator needs
to export it from another TANDBERG Content Server. For more
details, see
Export Conference
.
To import a conference, you need to upload that conference’s
.tcb file to another Content Server first. There are two ways of
doing that:
•
through the web interface - for files under 2GB.
•
through Remote Desktop - for files over 2GB.
Upload through the web interface:
•
Click the
Upload File
button.
•
Browse to the .tcb file of the conference you want to import.
•
Automatically import conferences after upload is selected by
default. If you deselect this checkbox, the conference file will
be uploaded, but will not be imported.
•
Click
Upload
to start uploading the file. A progress bar will
display the status of the upload. Depending on network
conditions and the size of the file, this may take a while.
Upload through Remote Desktop:
•
Copy the exported .tcb file to the
Imports
shortcut on the
desktop of the TCS
•
The conference name should now be displayed on the Import
Conference page. The state of the conference will be Not
Imported.
•
Click Import to start unpacking the .tcb file. This may take a
while. Once all conference outputs have been unpacked and
conference state has changed to Imported, the conference is
available for viewing from the Recorded Conferences page.
