Check whether the paper is loaded properly (not too loose, not too tight).

Please do not place anything on the cover of the printer, or slant the printer when you
do
maintenance or the printer prints.
7)
During the maintenance, be careful not to drop any part or screw into the printer.
8)
Keep the printer parts (screws, etc.) on a safe place. Take care about the positions of the
screws in the printer.
9)
Discharge yourself before touching any electronic component. Use a conductive wrist
band which is connected to earth ground.
10)
If you remove an electronic component do place it on a grounded conductive surface
(ESD).
11)
Inspect whether the cable wires are damaged during disassembly or reassembly. Do not
press the printer cables too tight so as to avoid damage.
12)
Check the cables for proper seat in their sockets.
13)
Do not touch the heating surface of the thermal head.
