•

Ethernet — An ethernet cable connected to the hub/switch will allow you to configure the 
TalkSwitch unit, and will allow two TalkSwitch units to communicate through VoIP.

•

AC adapter — The AC adapter will provide power.

•

PA — An amplified speaker connected to the PA jack will allow overhead paging.

•

MUSIC — An optional external audio source connected to the MUSIC jack will provide music 
on hold. It is not required if an audio file is loaded into the TalkSwitch unit.

TalkSwitch unit 2

TalkSwitch unit 2 optionally simulates an office at a remote location. It is used to demonstrate a 
TalkSwitch VoIP network.

•

E1 — A phone connected to E1 is local extension 121. It will represent an extension at a 
remote location.

•

Ethernet — An ethernet cable connected to the hub/switch will allow you to configure the 
TalkSwitch unit, and will allow two TalkSwitch units to communicate through VoIP.

•

AC adapter — The AC adapter will provide power.

•
