The HIN is visible at the starboard side of the transom. Do not alter, cover or remove  
the HIN. It may void the warranty and can get you into legal problems. Record the HIN 
of your boat in the designated place on the Declaration of Conformity’ in this manual. 
Also write it down in a safe place. The HIN will assist your boat dealer when ordering 
spare parts, and it will help you in case of theft. 

STEERING 

On the bigger inflatable models a steering system can be fitted. Your boat dealer can 
supply you with more information. 
 

ELECTRICAL 

 

If your boat will be fitted with electric devices, make sure to fit the correct     
Over current  protections.  
Observe the following tips and advises on the use and maintenance on DC systems: 

ALWAYS: 

·Check battery and charging system condition before setting off on a trip. 
·Check battery is tightly fastened in the boat. 
·Disconnect and remove the battery when the craft is in winter storage (cold weather 

areas) or long-term storage. 

·Check the function of navigation lights before embarking on night passages and carry 

replacement bulbs for all navigation lights. 

NEVER: 

·Work on the electrical system when this energized. 
·Modify the electrical system installation and the relevant drawings, except by a 

qualified marine electrical technician. 

·Alter or modify the rated current amperage of over current protective devices. 
·Install and replace electrical appliances or devices with components exceeding the 

rated current amperage of the circuit. 

·Leave the craft unattended with the electrical system energized. 
 

FUEL SYSTEM 

WARNING   EXPLOSION / FIRE HAZARD  
Inspect system regularly for leaks. 
·Never modify the fuel system or  fuel lines. Inspect regularly for chafe, tears and 
cracks. Replace when in doubt. 
 

YOUR CHECKLIST FOR FUELLING  

· Turn off engine and all other systems. 
· Observe “No Smoking” while fuelling. 
· Refuel during daylight. 
· Check for right quality of fuel. 
· Avoid spillage. 
· Keep fire-extinguisher at hand. 
· Tie boat tightly to the pier.
