COVERS

FUEL FILLER PORT

WARNING

• Do not smoke and keep away from heat

or ﬂame while ﬁlling the fuel tank.

• Fill the fuel tank in a well ventilated

place, with the engine turned off.

• Clean up spilled fuel immediately.

• Do not ﬁll the fuel tank to capacity.

Allow room for oil expansion.

• Securely tighten the fuel ﬁller cap.

Opening

1. Open the cover, insert the key and turn it

counterclockwise to unlock the cap.

2. Turn the fuel ﬁller cap counterclockwise

and remove it.

Closing

1. Install the fuel ﬁller cap to the fuel ﬁller

port, and then turn the cap clockwise to

close it.

2. Lock the fuel ﬁller cap.

ENGINE HOOD

WARNING

Before opening the engine hood, be sure

to stop the engine. If a hand or tool

becomes trapped in the rotating or

moving part, serious injury could result.

1. Insert the starter key and turn it

counterclockwise to unlock the engine

hood (1).

2. Open the engine hood (1).

Closing
