EVERY 500 HOURS

REPLACING THE HYDRAULIC OIL

RETURN FILTER

Refer to “Replacing the hydraulic oil return

ﬁlter” on page 5-23.

REPLACING THE FUEL FILTER

WARNING

• Do not smoke or permit open ﬂames

while handling fuel or working on the

fuel system.

• Stop the engine in a well-ventilated

place and allow it to cool down before

performing maintenance.

• Clean up spilled fuel immediately.

1. Open the engine hood.

2. Turn the ﬁlter (1) counterclockwise with the

ﬁlter wrench and remove it.

3. Clean the surface of installation of the ﬁlter

stand.

4. Apply a thin layer of oil on the packing of

the new ﬁlter.

5. Install the new ﬁlter by hand.

6. Tighten one more turn after the ﬁlter

packing comes in contact with the surface

of installation. (Torque when tightening

with ﬁlter wrench: 19.6 to 23.5 N·m or 14

to 17ft-lb)

7. Bleed the air.
