1. Raising the chair
To raise the chair, step on the right side of the UP/DOWN foot switch on the foot
control or press the UP/DOWN switch of the control panel upwards.
The chair operates while the stepping on (pressing) the switch.
To lower the chair, step on the left side of the UP/DOWN foot switch on the foot
control or press the UP/DOWN switch of the control panel downwards.
The chair operates while the stepping on (pressing) the switch.
If any switch except for the legrest heater switch is pressed while the chair rotation
lock is released, chair rotation is engaged and then locked.
If any switch except for the legrest heater switch is pressed while the chair rotation
lock is released, chair rotation is engaged and then locked.
2. Lowering the chair
Right Left
• Before raising or lowering the chair, always be sure to check that there
are no persons or objects near the chair or step, or in the gap of the
support arm. There is a danger of body parts being pinched, resulting
in injury or damage.
• This chair moves backwards as it is raised. Thoroughly check that
there are no obstructing items before and behind the chair.
